Job Summary

Under supervision of the Head Chef and Assistant Chef, prepare daily menu items to recipe specifications. This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefit eligible position.

Education/Skills Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. 3 years progressive cooking experience required. Culinary degree preferred

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

A valid Driver’s License and the ability to meet the eligibility requirements of the College’s current Motor Vehicle Use Policy. Serve Safe Certification. Other Experience Requirements: Three years experience in kitchen production required. Demonstrated understanding of basic cooking techniques and their application in catering and/or institutional settings.

Standard Work Days and Hours

Varying shifts including weekends, holidays and during weather emergencies. Required to work during major college events and weekends. Added hourly pay differentials for second shift (7%) and third shift (10%) apply.
